Off Peak Tickets: -Weekday morning and afternoon sessions up to and including the 4.00pm session (excluding Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day). Concession - £11.00 (Includes Student with valid ID and Senior Citizens 60+). Family ticket - £32.00 (1 Adult and 3 Children or 2 Adults and 2 Children). OFF PEAK: Adult - £10.00. Ice guides are available to escort your party on the ice. Each Ice Guide can look after up to 15 skaters and will be exclusive to your group for the 1 hour session. Ice guides cost £30 and can be booked by calling 020 8241 9818. GETTING TO THE TOWER: BY LONDON UNDERGROUND. Circle/District lines to Tower Hill. Follow directional signage to the main entrance of the Tower. BY TRAIN. Fenchurch Street or London Bridge Station. From Fenchurch Street station, exit on to Mark Lane. Turn left on to Byward Street, which will lead you to Tower Hilland the Tower of London. From London Bridge station cross the bridge over the River Thamesand turn right on to Lower Thames Street. After a 5-minute walk the Tower is located on your right. BY DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY. Tower Gateway Station is located adjacent to Tower Hill station. Follow directional signage to the main entrance of the Tower. BY BUS. Bus routes: 15, 25, 42, 78, 100 and D1. The Tower is also served by all major sightseeing bus tours. BY RIVERBOAT. The Riverline operates a fast and reliable scheduled service to the Tower of London. Boats run from Savoy Pier (Charing Cross and Embankment), Blackfriars, Bankside (by Tate Modern) and London Bridge Pier in the West and from Woolwich Royal Arsenal, Greenwich, Masthouse Terrace and Canary Wharf in the East. GENERAL INFORMATION: Please note that this is a temporary, outdoor ice rink subject to varying weather and ground conditions. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Q When should I get there? A Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your skating session. Q At what age can I bring my children? A There is no minimum age for children. Minimum skate size: Children's size 9. We advise parents to use their discretion as to whether the child will enjoy the experience if they are very young. Q I've got big feet! Do you have boots to fit me? A The maximum skate size: Adult size 13. Q Can I bring my own skates? A Yes you can. Although we reserve the right not to allow a person to use their own skates if we decide that they are not suitable. Q What if it is raining? A You will get wet! The rink can operate in nearly all weather conditions. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing. This is an outdoor event and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the unlikely event that the Duty manager deems it necessary to close the ice rink, alternative sessions will be offered for skating, subject to availability. Q What do I do with my bags, coats etc when I am skating? A A cloakroom is available where you collect your ice skates from (extra charge). Q Do I have to pay to spectate or go into the Moat cafe? A All the viewing areas and cafe are free to access. So come along and watch your friends and family skating and enjoy a warming hot drink and snack. Q What if I lose something while I am at the Ice Rink? A All lost property will be kept at the Ice Rink Box Office. Q I am a wheelchair user, can I book to skate on the ice? A Wheelchairs are welcome on the ice during any public session excluding the final session of each day (9.00pm - 10.00pm). ICE SKATING CAN BE HAZARDOUS.
